UFOS-unidentified flowering Oregon shrub

I don't know the name of this bush in our backyard but it's flowering beautifully.

Divas! A one Woman Show

We went to Seven Feathers casino & resort the day before Sharon's birthday for a cabaret show and dinner at the buffet. The entertainer sang songs made famous by different female singers. She didn't try to impersonate them. She was quite good.

Brothers & Sister

This is me on the left, Patrick, my sister Patricia in the middle and my brother Robbin. My sister just bought a place in McMinnville, Oregon. It's within walking distance of the museum where the Spruce Goose is.

Spring Craft Fair

We went to the spring craft fair at the Douglas County fairgrounds. The first thing I saw was this cat & I knew I had to have it. Robbin told me this is the old hippy craft fair and that we'd saw lots of tie dye.

Sharon at the Bandon pier posing next to a carved wooden seahorse. We have been working everyday remodeling and landscaping and painting. We took a day off and went to the coast to relax. The Oregon coast is about an hour and half away.

Lemon Meringue Candy

The lemon meringue pie candy at Cranberry Sweets in Bandon is so good, so like eating a pie, they also make key lime pie candy that's awesome.

Whale watching on the Oregon Coast

We went whale watching south of Bandon at Face Rock ocean overlook. March is supposed to be primetime for spotting whales from the shore. There were no whales to be seen today but we did see a whale watching boat.

A day in Bandon

I am here! Downtown Bandon on the Oregon Coast is a picturesque little town. We had lunch at the Wheelhouse restaurant after whale watching at Face Rock ocean viewpoint.

This is a picture of the gorge from the train when we were coming back from our trip to Yellowstone & Glacier National Parks last summer. The Columbia River is the boundary between Washington & Oregon.

The cats are comfortable

Buddy & Scooter are adjusting to life in their new home. They don't like sleeping alone. When they're awake they don't get along so well.

Arts & Crafts Project

This was black before I painted it. We had a bunch of leftover paint samples. We went through a dozen colors before deciding what color to paint the walls. So I thought I would do something fun and colorful.

2 Love Birds on the railing of our deck

2 House finches, the one with red on it is male, the plain gray one is a female. In the bird world the males are the colorful ones and the females are plain. I feed the birds sunflower seeds, they love them.

Time to plant

We had a few nice days and so started planting something colorful. It is now raining again but the temperature has been in the high 50s for the last couple of weeks.

Kitchen remodel

These are 2 views of our kitchen, pre and post remodel. We refaced the cabinets, put in a new countertop and a subway tile backsplash. The stove will be replaced with a new one soon.
